2023 Municipal Elections in Durham and Cary, North Carolina
Friends, please get out to vote in municipal elections today (October 10, 2023) in Durham (primary election) and Cary, North Carolina. There will be important issues at stake. Durham residents will decide on the future direction of the city on issues ranging from affordable housing, future of rezoning plan - SCAD, diversion of resources from policing to non-police intervention or HEART program, living wages/working conditions for Durham Sanitation Workers and other essential workers (who recently won a victory/bonus after heroic struggle), and other issues.
